KOS
The beautiful Island of Kos in the Greek Islands is an ideal island to sail to, from Bodrum-Turkey.
The Greek Island of Kos is most well known as the birthplace of Hippocrates and many visitors visit the famous Hippocrates tree under which he was supposed to have written the Hippocratic Oath. Whether this is the actual tree or not, it is certainly very old and very picturesque as is the rest of Kos town itself. The Castle of the Knights of St John, a well preserved Venetian Castle, dramatically overlooks the old harbour
When the sight seeing is finished the town has an enormous choice of restaurants and discos to visit but don’t stay out too late there are plenty of other placed of interest to visit on the rest of the Island. The famous sandy beaches of Kos teem with the opportunity to indulge in extreme water sports.
